McKinney, Texas Cop David Eric Casebolt resigns

Friday, June 5th 2015 around 7:15 pm the McKinney police officers responded to the Craig Ranch North Community Pool for a “disturbance involving multiple juveniles at the location, who do not live in the area or have permission to be there, refusing to leave.” Corporal Coward David Eric Casebolt was one of twelve officers who reported on the scene. Casebolt was caught on camera using profanity, excessive force and pulling a gun on unarmed teenagers.

15-year-old Brandon Brooks recorded the now viral video said “A fight between a mom and a girl broke out and when the cops showed up everyone ran, including the people who didn’t do anything. So the cops just started putting everyone on the ground and in handcuffs for no reason. This kind of force is uncalled for especially on children and innocent bystanders.” He also stated that the police "skipped over me and told my african american friends to sit down" in the recent interview below.

Below is the original video shot by Brandon Brooks. Casebolt at one point yells “Don’t make me fucking run around here with 30 pounds of goddamn gear on in the sun cause you want to screw around out here.”
The video shows Casebolt charging after 15-year-old Dajerria Bectona; he grabs her by the arm, drags her to the ground. The excessive force Casebolt uses to detain her is heartbreaking. When a young man rushed to their side, Casebolt pulled out his gun and pointed it at him before other officers intervened.

Greg Conley, the Police Chief of the McKinney Texas Police Department told reporters at a news conference on Tuesday the following:
"The actions of Eric Casebolt are indefensible."
"He came into the call out of control, and as the video shows was out of control during the incident.”
"Our policies, our training, our practice doesn’t support his actions."
Crazy to think that Casebolt was a "corporal" in the police department.
These are the kind of people that are put in charge huh?!

...liberty and justice for all?!
