Osibisa: British-Afro Pop Band

So this past summer I came across some old vinyl lying around the house and in the mixture I found a few LPs from the band Osibisa. I never heard of the band but then name was very intriguing to me. So I dusted off our turntable and placed the record on.

Osibisa is a British Afro-pop band, founded in London in 1969 by four expatriate African and three Caribbean musicians.

Osibisa was one of the first African heritage bands to become widely popular and linked with the world music description.
